*Position will start off working 100% Onsite in Houston, TX and will move to a hybrid working model later on, so applications MUST already be located in Houston, TX and open to this work schedule requirement*
**New Position for a new Department**
Short Summary of Position:
- Seeking someone with a combination of IT/technical skills (Python for data analysis), Operational knowledge and domain knowledge (Aftermarket/Manufacturing) to bridge the gap between systems, & provide actionable insights or improvements for a brand new department at a major company in Houston, TX.
- They are working on defining the direction for this department, which oversees a global manufacturing and distribution network. (This role will fall under their newly established operations excellence division).
- The focus is on analyzing the entire distribution network, the interactions between manufacturing sites, global parts procurement and distribution, and customer service processes.
Looking for this resource to have:
- Strong persuasive, communication & presentation skills who has worked on projects from start to finish and presented their findings to various levels of upper management and stakeholders.
- Must have strong skills using python (at least 3-years) for data analysis, manipulation, automation, and process improvements.
- At least 8 years of experience in a business-process role.
- Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in data science, business, or related field (MBA is preferred).
